A soprano saxophone prodigy, Émile Parisien has already won five Victoires du Jazz awards, including Best Album of the Year in 2024 for Let Them Cook. Backed by his radiant quartet (with Julien Touéry, Ivan Gélugne, and Julien Loutelier), he also thrives on pushing boundaries - whether diving into Detroit-style electro-jazz with Jeff Mills, the Nordic experimental sounds of Supersilent and Jaga Jazzist, or the L.A. beat scene with artists like Flying Lotus. The same spirit applies to Louise (2022), his recent sextet project, which includes another brass voice - Theo Croker on trumpet - an artist who often explores soul and hip-hop influences.

In 2026, Émile Parisien will tour with his new group "Floating", featuring Yaron Herman on piano, Linda May Han Oh on double bass, and Prabhu Edouard on percussion.
